The picture on the left was me at maybe 178++ kgs and the right was this evening.

The road to growth is entirely different for everyone but there are some common principles that affect us all.

Dont compare, it will rob you of hope

Once upon a time you made a choice. Only you can change your future

Where do you want to be tomorrow? Only you have the power to choose.

there are days I see myself in a group photo and think how in the hell after losing almost 88kgs am I STILL the biggest in the foto

Or when some, who think i should have lost more!!??
So my stomach is hanging and that area is still big. I am not hear to please anyone

Its slow but it’s steady.

Intermittent Fasting – An Eating Pattern

So a while back the my Coach recommended that I try this diet that you have to fast in, i didn’t really listen and ignored it.

Just before Ramadan started I started following some really amazing people who did the whole fat to fit transformation (weight loss) with and without the gastric banding etc. So One of them mentioned it to me, this made me do some research and discovered that its called Intermittent Fasting.

What is Intermittent Fasting?

Intermittent fasting is a term for eating between periods of fasting and eating. (i hope this makes sense)

There is nothing about which foods you should eat, but actually when you should eat and that they have to be low calorie.

This is what worked for me and in 1 week they change was apparent even to those who saw me everyday.

Do I recommend it ? YES!!

One Year Weight Loss Journey

1 year ago today I started my #weightlossjourney without any surgery. it has been a long ride and still some more to go. Having lost over 80kgs.

I am at a stage where I gain a little loose a little but never going to be out of control again.

I have chosen a path where I will allow myself to live. Never thought it was possible to change and be the change. It is a Me vs Me Battle which I am still winning.

I AM THE CHANGE, a healthier life for my son and me. I chose to live a longer life.
